The Return (an Interview and a Giveaway!)

I've been gone quite a while, which I apologize for. Between my laptop breaking at the worst possible time, my internet going out repeatedly for the past few weeks, as well as some personal issues and heartbreak which have left me in a dark mood, it has been very difficult getting back to writing.

However, Scarlet is now fixed and back in my possession - my internet is still sporadic but seems to be manageable - and I think I'm finally in the right mental state to get back to work.

To kick things off, I'm having a giveaway on Goodreads of ONE signed copy of Crow, which is going on from now until October 30th. If you don't have a copy yet, or maybe just want one with my scribbly John Hancock, you should definitely check it out:

In other news, while my internet was out, they posted the interview I did with Indie Author Land about Crow. It is certainly worth a read, and I really appreciate the taking the time to do an interview with me.

As for the E.T.A. on Shift (yes, that is what I've settled on calling the second book in The Crow Series), I'm just getting my feet wet on the second draft, so no set publishing date for the time being, but I will definitely let you all know when it's ready. I know some of you have been anxiously and patiently waiting through all these crazy delays for Book Two, so I'm trying to get my head straight and get it finished for you. Once the second draft is complete, I'll be trying out Amazon's new pre-order function, which I'm super excited they finally implemented for us Independent authors! This means you guys will be able to pre-order your copies in advance.

I won't be posting updates as regularly for a while as I'm trying to get things back in order and my internet is still not totally reliable yet. I'll be back at the end of the Giveaway to give you more updates.
